Guest guest
VETRI VALE MURUGANUKU AROHARAA! SRI VENKATASUBRAMANIANUKU AROHARAA!! MY HUMBLE NAMASKARAMS TO THE LOTUS FEET OF ALL MURUGAN BHAKATHS !!! I want share an information about a Murugan temple at Valasaravakkam Chennai. It is near the Valasaravakkam Panchayat office. In this temple the Lord is called Sri Venkatasubramaniam. He embodys BRAHMA SKANDAN OR BRAHMA SASTHAA. Here Murugan is with four hands 'SATHUR PUJAMS'. The belief is that His figure represents His Divine Omnipotent position performing all the three functions-creation, protection and destruction. He was doing that after he had put Naanmugan Brahma in the gaol for his arrogance and ignorance of the meaning of the Pranavam. The Vikraham is over 2000 years old; of course the temple is fairly new. The Vikraham is very unique. I have not come across such a majestic,- over six feet height- beautiful and graceful Vikraham elsewhere. His Grace will appear so palpable that we can feet It. My humble request to all the Murugan Bhakthas to make endeavours to visit this great temple and get His boundless Grace. with regards SIVAKUMAR --- " R.Sivaramakrishna Sharma " <arunagirinathar wrote: > First of all welcome to our group. > > This groups was setup with the prime objetive of > being > a common forum to discuss topics related to Lord > Muruga and Murugan Bhakti. > > So please feel free to post messages - > > Secondly - > An Information Bulletin was just posted - > Kindly check it out in the Message archive (group's > home page). > > Thank you. > > The Moderator > > > ===== > > Shambho Mahadeva > > > ______________________ > India Mobile: Download the latest polyphonic > ringtones. > Go to http://in.mobile. > Hotjobs: Enter the " Signing Bonus " Sweepstakes http://hotjobs.sweepstakes./signingbonus
