Guest guest
Hi to all, I am not sure how this works , does everyone get to read my mail or is there a regulator/coordinator reviewing the mails. Anyway, I have been pondering for awhile whether to pop this question. I decided I might as well. Well, I have been going through many 'ordeals', 'trials' in my life for the past 7 or 8 years. Everytime, when I think I am coming to the end of the tunnel and will see the daylight, the tunnel gets extended. MURUGA is my favorite, eversince I was a child, I felt in love with him from the first moment. But somehow, I feel that he is testing me to the ultimum. I don't know whether I can be able to take it any longer. I most certainly am aware that there are thousands who are worse off than me. But I do want to live life too. I have recited and will recite Kandar Shashti Kavasam, Kandar Guru Kavasam, Arupadai Veedu Kavasam, Thirupugazh, Sivapuraanam, Thiruvaasagam almost daily. Why does HE do this? I know HE gives each of a burden that HE knows we are capable of carrying but I feel so exhausted mentally and physically.! I am right now in the middle of my studies. There is a heavy commitment of my savings, my emotions and the expectations of my family and myself too. Yet this personal situation which I believe was blessed by HIM right from the start, is taking a very heavy toll on me. Thanks for all of your time. K. M. Guest guest
Hi Mohan.. It is really nice to know that you are taking things in the right spirit. You must be a great devotee to recite holy words almost daily. Your faith in Him will definitely help you realise The Truth. If you feel you are too much burdened by ordeals or trials, you can do a pathayathirai to Palani from your native place " DURING THAI POOSAM " . People who get their problems solved by this are not able to get away from this magnet of Love " Palani Dhandayuthapani " and keep coming every year. When he loves even asuras like Surapadman, His Love towards us is, for sure, unlimited. Kandar Alangaram says the following in two of the 12 verses I know. vizikku thuNai thiru menmalar pAdangaL meymai kundrA moziku thuNai MURUGA enum nAmangaL munbu seytha paziku thuNai avan panniru thoLum bayanda thani vaziku thuNai vadivelum sengodan mayUramumE His loutus feet is the guard (is there better translation for - thuNai?) for eyes, His name " Muruga " is the guard for truthful tongue (language), His twelve shoulders are the guard for our past karma and His Lance and Peacock are the guard for our feared lonely path (of life). If you keep meditating on His lotus feet, His Sacred Name, His twelve shoulders (ARiru thadanthOL) and His Lance and Peacock, for sure automatically all your problems (INCLUDING THE PAST KARMA) would go away. Keep doing it and enjoy the Bliss. In another verse, nAL en seyum vinathAn en seyum enai nAdi vandha kOL en seyum kodungUtRen seyum kumarEsar iru thALum silambum sahangaiyum thaNdaiyum saNmukamum thOLum kadambum enakku munnE vandhu thOndRidinE. If The Great Lord Kumaresar's (May All Glories be to Him) lotus feet, silambu, sadangai, thandai, shoulders and his six faces come into your mind, even the day (good day or bad day) or karma or grahas or even curses cant do anything. That much is the Love of The Lord towards His devotees. You can recite this before doing anything or going out anywhere. When you recite keep remembering of His features being said in the verses. Let them come to your mind vividly. When you sit alone you can meditate upon His features said in the verse and enjoy. For sure, the problems will go in the way they came. I will also pray to Him that your problems be solved. May all glories be to Lord Murugan, The Most Merciful. Muruga Saranam Meyyappan S PS: I request knowledgible people to translate and explain the verses better than me and the pleasure would be mine. Its higly possible that there may be mistakes in every mail of mine. Please feel free to correct me wherever necessary. I would really love it if members keep posting the verses from holy scriptures and explain them so that we can really enjoy listening to His Glories. dhandapani , " Kala Mohanraj K " <mohanrajnayagam@c...> wrote: > > Hi to all, > I am not sure how this works , does everyone get to read my mail or is there a > regulator/coordinator reviewing the mails. > Anyway, I have been pondering for awhile whether to pop this question. Guest guest
You have touched the heart of all readers with your sharing. It was very heartwarming to read some readers' assurances to you and to keep up your faith in Murugan. Let me add my little bit for what its worth. May I address you as Kala? Well, Kala, its great you've mastered so many prayers celebrating Lord Muruga. Once you've recited them for the day, you've got to simply switch off your worries and carry on with all your deadlines or chores for the day. You musn't constantly check if He's doing anything about it. The switching off is a signal to Him that you believe He'll take care. When you give that signal, He'll do the rest. Try it out. Well, at present the group is Unmoderated, because I have some faith, that members will not SPAM the group with unwanted thrash mails. But the Internet is a really bad place to keep faith in - at least the majority of it! Regarding the reach of your mail, almost everyone in the group will get it - barring those who have chosen NOT to receive the mails - rather read the daily feeds from the website. || Thiruchitrambalam || || Muruga Sharanam || Group Moderator, R. Guest guest
Hi Kala, I have read somewhere that GOD's delays are not GOD's denials. Have patience. Murugan will shower you with HIS blessings. As Meyyappan mentioned Murugan loves even the asuras like Soorapadman. HE IS compassion. You might know that HIS names include the following: (translations from www.murugan.org -http://murugan.org/texts/names.htm) Om Akshaya Bhala Pradaaya Namaha (Bestower of indestructible results) Om Aasrita Akhila Daatre Namaha (Who showers grace on those who seek his solace) Om Bhakta Vatsalaaya Namaha (Lover of devout ones) On the same lines as what Patricia mentioned about switching off, I remember something that Ammachi had once said. When you travel in a train you do not carry your luggage, do you? You put your luggage on the train and let the train carry it for you. Similarly just surrendedr everything at Lord Muruga's feet and HE will take care of the rest. Om Subrahmanyaya Namaha!
