Guest guest
MURUGA SARANAM I was very much impressed by the idea of magazine in English on Vedic Culture. It was in fact correct to inform the members about sucha a group. But ongoing ruthless business promotion by targetting and spamming groups and individuals has made some think that the tariffs are to promote business but not knowledge. Even if knowledge has to be spread it also needs money. Having decided how it is going to publish, including the tariffs show the foresightedness and experience of Mr. Venkatraman in this field. Sometimes it becomes difficult to obtain useful enlightening information in spite of spending lot of money. But if Dhandapani wishes it reaches our doorstep without having to look for that. The people who requested members to pray for have contributed to group members in many useful ways in the past. Having known them through their earlier posts people did not need to know the reason behind their request. While every praying experience is a blessing in itself, prayingto Shanmukha Nathan for someone else could be like getting paid for eating Sugarcane (Karumbu Thinna Kooli). Such is the sweetness one experiences while praying to The Beautiful Lord. When we get another reason to pray to Him, we forget to think what is that we are praying for. He is the Knower of all. He knows what we are looking for. After certaintime we forget our problems and start seriouslyloving Him. One request I wouldlike to Mr.Vekatraman is if the said magazine could have articles to inspire people in severe difficulties. Though God helps those in difficulties many people like Him only if their wishes are fulfilled. Many others are desperately looking for inspirations to conquer their difficulties. Islam and christianity offer inspiration and motivation through their teachings. Churches give intense counselling with special attention to every individual. How one will face difficulties and win overthem? What role religion plays in helping them realise how to win in their difficult situations or atleast how to face them, to realis what is their actual goal, that is whether winning the temporary difficulties or look forwardto the permenant Bliss etc.. People should learn to use devotion and develop an appropriate mindset of how to percieve and approach their problems. Only those who are able to come out of their material difficulties will be able to seriously concentrate on the divine path. Somewherethey should be able to draw some inspiration and find a practical solutionfor themselves. Forums like these and devotionalliteraturecan offer this to the devotees. I really dont know how this could be done and not even sure if Ihave made my point clear to everyone.
