Guest guest
Vanakam to All !!! Sorry I am repeating this request, but would appreciate if someone can help me on sources online or song books where I can get some good Murugan songs for Bhajans. The place I am, we have prayer gatherings where we lack or say have no one to sing a murugan song but for those Sai Bhajan songs. No offense to Sai devotees, just a personnel belief I find it difficult to associate Saibabba and Murugan. Most North Indians even lack the knowledge of Lord Muruga. Thus I would like help from some one to get hold of nice Murugan Songs, primarily to sing his praise when we gather for his prayers and feel contented and secondly bring awareness Vetri Vadivelan among others. Anbudan Subbu Vel irukha Venayum Illai Mayil Irukha Bhayamum Illai Adaivom Kandha Sevadi, Yena Aasai Kondu Saivom Sagala Kariyumum!!! Guest guest
I recently attended a Sai bhajan event and came across a very charming Murugan song in English. I only have the first 2 lines, but I'll get it from my friend and e-mail it as soon as possible (ASAP). (It goes like this: Muruga, Muruga, Muruga, Muruga, You're my shining star; Vadi Vel Muruga, Vetri Vel Muruga, Come to me Lord Muruga"). The tune is Western, but very haunting and quite simple. I loved it.
