Guest guest
Dear Mr. Siva Kumar, Please dont mistake me as this is just my opinion. If possible you please undertake take any temple in India which needs financial assistance. That might not be for lifetime but may be even for a single day or for a month. Because many of the ancient temples are in heavy financial problems even to get the flower for pooja. And I will send you any ideas if i come to know on building new temples. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Siva Kumar, I do not have a practical idea in building a temple. But I would like to share some points here. 1. Basically there are 16 basic forms of Lord Muruga and they can be placed on the sides of the walls or can be painted on the walls. 2. Idols of Arupadai Veedu Murugan can be placed in one temple. 3. Nava Veeras are the 9 younger brothers and are the primary Senapathys of Muruga. Small idols for them can be placed. 4. It is common to have the idols of the two Muruga baktas Idumban and Kadamban in Murugan temples. (Idumban was the first person to take kavadi to Palani). And we you want to form a Tirupugazh group in the temple; we can have an idol for Arunagirinathar. 5. Lord Muruga is the Universal Guru and all the siddas are considered as his sishyas. Among them it is common to have the idol of Agathiyar to whom Muruga teached Tamil first. 6. If we are constructing the temple for Palani Andavar we can also place the idol of Bogar who made the Navabashana idol of Palani Andavar. In addition an idol for " Sevvai (Mars) " can be placed since Palani Andavar is the Athidevathi god for Sevvai. 7. Songs like - a. Sasti Kavacham of Arupadai Veedus(For every padai veedu there is a sasti kavacham by Devaraya Swamigal and the most popular one that we follow - Sastiyai nokka Saravana Bavanar… is the one for Tiruchendur) b. Skanda Guru Kavacham c. Kumarastavam d. Kandar Alangaram e. Tirumurugatru padai f. If we are building temple for Padai veedu Murugan we can carve the Tirupugazh for that particular padai veedu or any other song for the particular temple on the walls. can be carved on the walls of the temple. 8. Incidents of Kanda Puranam can be painted on the walls. 9. Paintings of some other famous Murugan temples like Maruda malai, Vayalur, Porur can be drawn on the walls. 10. A map containing information on some popular temples of Muruga can be placed at the temple from which the devotees can be benefited. 11. Finally, this is my own intention. " Kundru irukkum idamellam Murugan Irukkum idam " - but building a temple over a mountain will cost economically too high. So what I think is we can make the place to some height of 7 feet (Human height +1)by putting sand like the one coming to the temple shall have to take steps to reach the sannadi. Thank you dhandapani , " Kovur Siva kumar " <svm333us> wrote: > Dear friends, > > Fine and wish the same from you.
