Guest guest
The ability to tide over difficult times cheerfully yet determined to find a light at the end of the tunnel is faith.Such unstinted faith is something one very rarely observes in people these days.We are all religious and extremely devoted at heart and yet it is only a handful; whose devotion and faith touches us. We idolise them as our role models. We are awe struck by their devotion, faith. The will to surrender onself to the lord , treat joys and sorrows of life at par and accept the law of karma as ones own deeds requires great grit and courage. Each one of us is close to our tutelary god whom we consider to be our friend, our confidante. Our prayer towards the ishta devata is absolute. We melt , shower our love and shed tears of joy when worshipping him. Our heart where the atman resides knows no end to happiness because we forget ourselves when we think about Him. There are no riders attached to it; as it is complete faith and trust which is nothing short of Self - surrender On quiet introspection, we understand, faith increases every time we are taught a lesson in life. In otherwords, contrary to our beliefs, adverse situations which are best avoided by man are in reality, a blessing in disguise. They are the only ones who remind us of God, burn our karmas and pushes us close to acheiving our goal. With every "bad experience",supposedly as it were, our faith towards almighty increases by leaps and bounds. Meditation and yoga quietens our mind and gives us clarity in thought process which in turn slows our impulsive behaviour. Even during meditation our mind automatically switchs on the image of our tutelary god whom we are close to and helps increase our concentration. This happens due to the immense faith we have on Him. Like hope keeps a weak mind alive and going so does faith for a spiritual seeker. It is all that helps the soul to move through various concentric circles of karma to finally reach the centre and enjoy ultimate bliss.
