SWAMIJI AND THE ASHRAM The Viswa Brahmam Charitable Mission Trust is an organization founded directly by Sri Haribrahmaji in order to motivate people to invent in themselves the divine element lying dormant in every person irrespective of their caste, creed, religion and nationality. Swamiji wants everyone to realize this fact and lead a happy and peaceful life in this world. He has already evolved a meditation technique called Brahmadhyan to realize this divine element in oneself and to make one work for the social and spiritual upheaval of mankind through love and service. This technique inculcates in man a sense of unity and peace in his individual self first and in others as well. Apart from this the swamiji has also formed two organizations called Brahmanikethan and Brahmajyothi which are located in Cochin and support orphaned children and gives refuge to the old and work for their welfare in a special way. BRAHMANIKETHAN It is an organization located at Cochin and is running under the direct supervision of Swamiji and supports many orphaned children. The Swamiji lives with them and personally take care of their education and character formation and enables them grow into responsible citizens. BRAHMAJYOTHI Is yet another organization which takes care of the old who have no one to look after them. Many elderly people are living there and the Swamiji looks after their material and spiritual needs. The atmosphere in the ashram is conducive to their spiritual growth and is beneficial to them in all ways. THE PRESENT FINANCIAL STRAITS OF THE ASHRAM At present the Brahmanikethan and the Brahmajyothi are housed in a two storied rented building. The lease contract expires on 10th December 2006.The ashram and its inmates wish eagerly to buy this building for them selves. The overall cost is Rs.85 lakhs. We are unable to raise this huge amount on our own. So the ashram and its inmates look forward to your generous financial contribution. The Swamiji makes an earnest appeal to you all to donate generously and take part in the noble work we are doing.
