Let me indroduce myself as a devotee of Lord muruga.

 

I am a new child in this GROUP

 

I am working in finance company in salem tamilnadu

 

I am getting pride by entering in the Murugan Bhakthi group of .

 

Iam living in the city where Sri SKANDASRAMAM , KUMARIGIRI MALAI

Muruga Saranam

 

Dear Mr. Muruga Sundaram..

 

You must be fortunate to have His name. More that you, the people around you as they utter His name as many times as they address you. BTW I think Kanjamalai famous for its Siddhas is also a Murugan Abode (as mentioned in Skanda Guru Kavasam) in Salem and you have places like Kolli Malai nearby. I visited Skandagiri which is known to Bus Conductors only as Skandasramam or Udaiyapatti. I was inspired to visit and take a dip in the Kannimar Odai which is the theertham for the temple. They also have a Veda Padasalai (institute to teach Vedas). TOne of the people there told me that Lord Muruga came in the dreams of Santhananda Swamigal and instructed for building this temple. Later Santhanada Swamigal also got a direct Vision of Lord Muruga in one of the Mounts nearby the temple, where they light the Jyothi during Krithigai every year.
