Dear Mr Raju

Thank you very much for your posting. Its very informative and I'm grateful that I know a little more than what I used to.

I have a question here. I refer to your segment where you say " the place where Brhalatha penanced to cleanse his sin of killing his father Hiranya Kasibu "

Excuse me, but I always learnt that it was Lord Vishnu as Sri Narasimha who killed Hiranya Kasipu. So where does the question of Prahlada killing his father arise? Then how can he do penance for a crime he did not commit?

If you or any of the group members can enlighten me on this point, I shall be grateful.

Thanks again

Patricia

Dear Patricia and Meyyappan,

Yes, it is Lord Narsimha who killed him ultimately but Lord came only

at the behest of Brhalatha and so Brahalatha was instrumental for his

father's killing.

Raju
