Dear Mr Raju

Thank you very much for your posting. Its very informative and I'm grateful that I know a little more than what I used to.

I have a question here. I refer to your segment where you say "the place where Brhalatha penanced to cleanse his sin of killing his father Hiranya Kasibu"

Excuse me, but I always learnt that it was Lord Vishnu as Sri Narasimha who killed Hiranya Kasipu. So where does the question of Prahlada killing his father arise? Then how can he do penance for a crime he did not commit?

If you or any of the group members can enlighten me on this point, I shall be grateful.

Thanks again

Patricia

I also read the travelogue by Sri. Raju and agree that it is wonderful to read in so much deptht and detail about our temples.

There is a website called www.tripsagain.com, where one can post itineraries about trips including maps and a few pictures. It may be useful if those who have been on a tour to say Badrinath or other holy places post their travel routes, and their experiences and which agent they used etc., so it will be easy for the rest of us research and plan further trips based on their experiences.
