Guest guest
Dear All,On the eve of Sri Mahashivaratri, I've uploaded Sri Shankara Arati to 'Flowers of devotion' website. This is a arati hymn sung at temples and houses in Maharashtra at the end of Puja ceremonies. It is Marathi and the looking at the last verse one may conclude that this may be a composition of Sri Ramadasa. I speculate that this could very well be Sri Samartha Ramadasa - one of the greatest avadhutas in recent history. This is in the Devanagari Script along with an authentic rendering by Sri Chandrakant Digambar Mule, who is a priest at the temple of Sri Siddhivinayak(a) at Mumbai.Thank you.Regards,R.
