786 is a practise that I have seen only with Indian Muslims. May be some Pakistanis and Bangalis follow too. But mostly it is an Indian Muslim practise. Arabs don't know what it is.

Many comparisons in this video are correct but some are just curiosity creation only. Some knowledgeable muslims can give correct explanation on practices. However Muslims too believe in Angels responsible for different functions, servents of God, way of life in heaven and hel etc.. and would say that it is explained in human form like wings, sense enjoyments etc.. so that we understand the concept and comprehend otherwise it is not what we imagine. The same is explained in Hinduism too. When we imagine people in heaven or Indraloka to have wings, easily fly around everywhere, do magical things, it is because only if explained that way we can comprehend the powers and events. But Muslims ridicule us.

One who wants to understand will always understand.

Be it muslims or sects among hindus like Isckonites, you will find people who are more attached to their practices and their path to God than God Himself.

We shall seek His mercy that we are not lost in this ego battle of which God is greatest or which religion is greatest. Finally it is only God that is greatest. Whatever we speak and do, finally only what is truth will remain truth. Hence let us use as much time as we can in singing His glories. That alone will come with us till end.

May All Glroes be only to Our Eternal Master who created this universe and keeps guiding us by always sending us guidances, strength and mercy.

Thanks Mr. Ramasamy.

This (superiority of Vishnu or Siva or Allah etc..) was haunting me like mad driving me to depression for a long period and the answer was given by Lord Skandagurunatha. May all Glories be to Him who majestically sits atop Skandagiri and keeps blessing His devotees eternally.

For long they have been successful in hurting us by making one form of God appear superior to other. But by grace of Lord Murugan we are able to see the Truth and understand. He is our great Guru, father, mother and ofcourse Merciful Lord. He is just One God who loves us all irrespective of whether we are good or bad. When one gets up he gets his food of the day whether he is good or bad. Such is the equality God shows to everyone. Rest is only due to Karma. So we have to be very carefl and not become hasty and become disliking to God as portrayed by other beliefs or sects, due to the words and practices of these people. Why these differences are felt among various sects is His secret alone. Why the same God is appearing in one form as Superior to other forms in one sect or religion and another form appears as Supreme in another sect (eg. Lord Vishnu and Lord Siva) is again His own secret alone. In spite of the words of Lord Krishna that Vaishnavites shouldn't show scorn or disrespect to Lord Siva and viceversa by Shaivites, we often find this being done with the aid of scriptures from both sides. We shouldn't be lost into these arguments of ego and miss out to enjoy His infinite glory. We don't know in which form the pitfalls may come. We may be the best and sincere ptacticers of our faith, but may fall in these kinds of invisible pitfalls of superiority of which form of God is great. So to be prepared to face even the unknown we should again seek His guidance only. Our efforts are equally important. But without His grace our efforts don't bear fruit.
