In arabic when they write Allah, if you change the orientation to vertical it resembles OM too.

Muruga Saranam

Dear Sir,

Please find the attached JPG file. Certainly it is not a violation as it is available through out the internet. The one at the left bottom is the simplest way of writing Allah. The one on left Top is the correct way of writing with proper notations of vowels. The one at the right top and bottom are one of the many many ways of writing them in Arabic Calligraphy. The one in the center reads as " In the name of God The Most Mercifula nd The Most Gracious - what they say as Bismillah Irrehman Irrehim " . The beauty of Arabic calligrapy is you can fit any word phrase or verse in any shape and you can still read it properly.

The first standing line on the right is the Alif that gives the pronunciation of " A " . That can be written anywhere below or right. In some writings they wrtie it below in the center giving a closer resemblance of OM.

Om in Indian Languages also have similar curves in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada with a slight variation in Tamil. When we say Hindi, it is same in almost all Indian Languages.

Some people from Sangh Parivar also call Lord in Makkah as Makkeshwar, though a Muslim may laugh it out, as they consider it as eternal unpardonable sin to attach shapes forms or equivalents for God the Supreme who is Pure and forms and shapes are impurities. For them the black stone is the one sent from Heaven to wipe the sins of people. Some versions claim it came from India though the mainly accepted one is from Heaven. If someone is interested I can post more information on Kaba (the black structure in Makka called as center of the world by Muslims) and its interior. BTW when they say Haram, normally in Arabic or Hindi/Urdu Haram means illegal. Anything Illeagal is Haram. Holy mosques (in Makkah and Madina) are called as Haaram because anything other than praying and God is Haram there.

Isckon websites post some references to Lord Siva in Makkah and arrival of Prothet Moahammed as Mahamad through some Purana Quotes, though all make a remote reference.

However all the beaming Mosques remind us of Lord Siva Personified. The Majestic Domes of the mosques remind us of Shiv Lingas with the Crescent resembling the Chandra Sekhara, Lord Siva wearing the crescent. The minarets (pillars) with the crescents also remind us of the same.

Om civayanamaPpl never accept truth and reality, if it is against their belief or interest. We can wake up a sleeping person, but cannot wake up the one who is acting as sleeping.Getting the grace and love of Muruga will happen only if he wishes and for him to make such a wish, one has to constantly think love and worship him.I still remember in my early child hood days, I framed a murugan photo and keep worshiping him exclusively than other altars at my home.It was like a kind of attraction I gained towards him, and since i was living close to a Murugan temple visiting him was not a big task to take.we cannot force ppl to transform to God, God has his own wish for himself,I known Tamil ppl who live in srilanka worship Lord Muruga as their only and Primary Godbut why Muruga left them in such a distress, among the

ppl who suffered atleast 1% or 2 % would be believing him.So why such a strange distress for them.I know the answer, but just want to hear the view of great scholars and devotees of lord muruga in this group.Om Civayanama--- On Thu, 8/20/09, Radhakrishnan nair <vprnair1966 wrote:Radhakrishnan nair <vprnair1966Re: 786 is Om-in arabhicdhandapani Date: Thursday, August 20, 2009, 1:29 PM
