It is only due to contact with the material nature that he has come out otherwise. Just as water falling from the sky is pure distilled water but becomes muddied when contacting the earth, similarly the soul is completely pure in his original state and has only become polluted due to material contact. Therefore if we seriously take up the discipline of re-associating with the spiritual nature our original Krishna consciousness will be revived and all of our natural saintly qualities will be revived.
