Because that is the actual position of the spirit-soul. We are not meant to rot here. We are meant to always enjoy ever-increasing excitement in the service of Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. That never-ending adventure is awaiting us right now. All we have to do is reconnect with the transcendental stratum situated beyond the curtain of this material cosmic manifestation. How do we pass through the coverings?
