Hare Krishna,

The Most Exciting Task is to Spread Krishna’s Glory

There is no such thing as a dull or a boring moment for someone who has surrendered himself unto Sri Krishna and committed to serve Him .

We have to completely purify our own hearts and perform the highest welfare activity by spreading Krishna’s glory to as many people as possible. In spite of all material advancement people are still suffering the threefold miseries of material existence. There is no reason for this suffering. It is due to ignorance only. One who becomes fixed in Krishna-bhakti tastes the sweetest nectar at every minute. Our mission is to bestow the ultimate happiness, Krishna-bhakti , upon every man, woman, and child . This is

truly the most exciting service because we are blessed with the formula that will solve all the problems of the world and now we have nectarean task of spreading Krishna’s glory .

Do Krishna's Devotees Suffer?

Dear Gurudev,

Who are the people of Krishna? What nation? Why do those people who were influenced by Krishna's philosophy suffer?

I see that my people have suffered. It is a sign of great power in human life, of spiritual power, sometimes you cannot avoid suffering.

Suffering comes to you by the force of nature and you have to bear it and see it as the mercy of God. Does suffering exist in Krishna's devotees also, or did they stop suffering because they surrendered to him?

Krishna Consciousness Take Us Beyond All Suffering

My Dear Indu-pati das,

Please accept my blessings.

Everyone is "Krishna's people." There is actually only one nation and that is the Krishna nation. Those who faithfully serve Krishna are naturally happily and successful. Those who are ignorant of the reality and deviate from Krishna's service suffer in so many varieties of ways. This is a fact.

When we say "my people" we are thinking that some people are our people and some people are not. The real fact is that everyone is our family because every living being is the child of Krishna.

Although it is seen from an external point of view that the devotees of the Lord also appear to be suffering birth, death, old age, and disease like everyone else, the fact is that because they are situated in Krishna bhakti, they are transcendental to the fourfold miseries due to Krishna’s grace and will soon return to the spiritual world (vaikunta) where there is no birth, death, old age, and disease.

Hoping this meets you in good health and in a cheerful mood,

Your eternal well-wisher,

Sankarshan Das Adhikari
