As more and and more people become vegetarians, give up drugs and alcohol, stop indulgence in illicit sexual relations, give up gambling etc, the following list of economic changes begin to surface. 1.Surplus Livestock, Happy animals, eventually less pig, sheep goat and poultry farms, more vegetable farms, less meat shops, more vegetable shops, less disease due to absence of inputs from infected meat. 2.Sober people, sanitized and rehabilitated, making the world a more congenial place for the good of all. 3.A world free from dangers of rape and molestation. 4.A world free from uncertainties among the poor due to gambling habits being stopped. 5.Overall, a society of "human beings" instead of a society of demoniac beings. Who is responsible for these changes? Not some government but a single person : His name -His Divine Grace A.C.Srila Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON. His inspiration led to many hippies shaving off their beards and cutting off their long hair. The shaving products industry was indirectly benefited. The soft drink Industry was benefited, smaller homes with lower incomes became more secure due to less gambling, petty vegetable-shop owners were benefited. This is a dream coming true, because we only hear big industries and groups in the world receiving benefit due to actions of governments, but here we have a different story altogether. Let us all bow down with respect at the feet of this wonderful person who brought about such wonderful changes in this world. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. HARE KRISHNA!
