Enlighten People to elevate as Krishna's Devotees

Hare Krishna, “Religion’ means to develop our love for Sri Krishna , the Supreme God. There is no question about this . Simply we must dedicate ourselves fully to reawakening the dormant Krishna-bhakti within our hearts. This is the true religion that we all belong to.

This understanding of religion is called “Krishna-bhakti ,” and is described in full detail in the authorized scriptures Bhagavad-gita and Bhagavatam .

Since Bhagavan Krishna is omniscient or all knowing, we can therefore approach Him sincerely and humbly in any language addressing Him in any of the several names given in the authorized scriptures. The criterion for acceptance is that, we must submit ourselves unto Krishna in full surrender.

This is confirmed by Bhagavan Sri Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita (18.66) :sarva-dharman parityajyamam ekam saranam vrajaaham tvam sarva-papebhyomoksayisyami ma sucah(Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.)

We should not approach the Bhagavan merely to fulfill our material desires. If we do so we are grossly shortchanging ourselves. What is use of only the cheap temporary trinkets of this material world in comparison to possessing Krishna Himself ? If you desire the supreme possession then simply fully give yourself to Bhagavan Krishna in loving devotion. Chant His holy names, offer Him all of your food before eating (no meat, fish, or eggs), avoid illicit sex , intoxicants and gambling. In this way we will quickly and easily achieve the supreme perfection of existence and become completely free from all forms of sins and anxiety .

The best way to serve Bhagavan Sri Krishna is to spread Krishna-bhakti among the people . If we want to spread Krishna-bhakti we must have it ourselves. Therefore, the most revolutionary thing we can do is to purify our own hearts. This is not always an easy thing to do. After all, we have been accumulating dirt in our hearts due to our sinful reactions of previous births . To clean the heart of these impurities is no small task. Just like we take bath every day , we must also clean our hearts everyday by chanting the Hare Krishna mantra and Vishnu Sahasranama .

If we can strictly do this and sincerely try to help as many other people as possible by enlightening them to Krishna’s devotees, Bhagavan Krishna will be greatly pleased with us and will bless us many, many times over. If we can seriously adopt the Krishna-bhakti , we will succeed in this life and thereafter attain Vaikunta, the eternal abode of Bhagavan Krishna.
