God is great

Namaste,

my name is binu and i am from kerala.................

My dear brothers and sisters pray to god daily with deep heart.........remember lord narayana always.

krishna..........narayana.......vishnu......mukundha....janardhana....govinda....

There was a great devotee and his name was Poondanam.......he went to Great Vikunta with body........he was the lovely devotee of Lord Narayana. He was from kerala.

Once Poontanam composes a great poetry about Lord Krishna............and went to Bhattatiripadu. bhattatiripadu was one of the great Sanskrit Scholar of that time, he was having great knowledge in Sanskrit.

Bhattatiripadu was sitting in Guruvayoor temple, so Poontanam went to Guruvayoor to see him.

Poontanam meet him and gives his respect first, and asks him to verify his poetry for any mistakes and shows him his poetry.

Poontanam loves god a lot and was very great devotee.......he dont know sanskrit at that time.........so his Poetry was in malayalam.

When bhattatiripadu asked poontanam.......In which language you have written it????

Poontanam replies that it is in malayalam.

There are many people seated near to bhattatiripadu inside guruyavoor temple.

Then bhattatiripadu smiles and makes insult of poontanam................by saying that God only accepts anything written in Sanskrit........because the language used by God is sanskrit.

So everybody seated there smiles.........it hurts poontanam a lot and lot.........he went to a side of the temple...........sitted there and start crying......................................

suddenly a big sound comes from the inside of the temple................saying that

"bhatta you have more Vibhakti than poontanam........but he has more Bhakti than you.........."

Then hearing that sound everybody stood up and surprises and ran near to poonthanam...........asking sorry and

Bhattatiripadu takes that paper from poondanam and starts reading it................

Bhattatiripadu surprises because there was no mistake and it was full of bhakti and knowledge...........................

that work of poondanam is "JnanaPana".........means jnana pan karna.......

Poondanam after some years goes to Vikunda...............

i dont have words to praise his devotion.............

Devotion is important...........you may know english or hindi or tamil or malayalam or telugu or sanskrit.................any language ....it doesnt matter....dont feel that you have no knowledge of sanskrit........Bhakti is important

it never matter which language you know...........love god and pray to god with feelings.

yours brother,

binu
