Hare Krishna , Pranam to all Vaishnavas,

Krishna says in Bhagavatam 11.7.23 : “ Although I, the Supreme Lord, can never be captured by ordinary sense perception, those situated in human life may use their intelligence and other faculties of perception to directly search for Me through both apparent and indirectly ascertained symptoms” .

It is always difficult to remain in the ‘mode of goodness’ , due to material distractions. One has to be discrete to avoid the feeling of ‘I’ , pride , jealousy and anger from creeping in to the mind . The frequent manifestation of the modes of passion and ignorance occurs from silly things. The inspirational views being aired by sincere devotees, about Krishna and His teachings greatly help one, to anchor his bhakti-yoga on the ‘mode of goodness’ .

Srila Prabhupada explains about the contamination of faith and the reluctance of some people , to follow the Vedic scriptures (referring to Gita verses 17.2-3) “Those who know the rules and regulations of the Vedic scriptures but out of laziness or indolence give up following these rules and regulations are governed by the modes of material nature. According to their previous activities (during previous births) in the mode of goodness, passion or ignorance, they acquire a nature (Daivic or Asuric) which is of a specific quality. But this nature can be changed if one associates with a bona fide spiritual master and obeys him and the rules of the Vedic scriptures.

The word "faith," is very significant as it originally comes out of the mode of goodness. But in material conditional life, no works are completely purified. They are mixed. In purified goodness one can understand the real nature of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. As long as one's faith is not completely in purified goodness, the faith is subject to contamination which expands to the heart. It should be understood that if one's heart is in the mode of goodness his faith is also in the mode of goodness. If his heart is in the mode of passion, his faith is also in the mode of passion. And if his heart is in the mode of darkness, illusion, his faith is also thus contaminated. “

Sri Krishna has often acted through His devotees to popularize bhakti-yoga among people . Brahmins are the traditional Spiritual Teachers of Vedic faith. They are morally and financially supported by other communities , in order to perform the said ‘prescribed duty’ . The activities of Acharyas are to be viewed in the context of resolving spiritual and social misgivings as well as related shortcomings in the society . A responsible devotee's statement(s) to other devotees should never ever directly or indirectly discourage or misguide

their faith in Lord Krishna and His fundamental principles. Criticism of the Lord in public by scholars , only enlivens the modes of Passion and Ignorance in the minds of innocent people.

May Sri Krishna bless you all !!!
