Krishna Consciouness is a Transcendental Platform

Many people accuse that the

members of the Krishna consciousness society are being cut off from work

and therefore their contributions are being lost to the society, nation

and the world. But this is not true. Infact, the members of this society work

very hard, but they don't work on the material bodily platform instead

they work on the higher platform, the spiritual platform, a platform on

which the real problems of life, namely, birth, death, old age and

desease can be solved.

 

Therefore, people who are gross materialists and are accustomed to work on the material bodily platform can't understand such

transcendental activities. They can't understand that spiritual platform

is above the physical, mental and intellectual platform (Bg 3.42). One who is spiritually sound

will be physically, mentally and intellectually sound too. Suppose, a

person has one million dollor, then he also has ten, hundred and

thousand dollors.

These materialistic people

have made so much advancment, but what advancment they have made in the areas of birth, death, old age and desease? Why do they not consider, "We

have made so much advancment, but what advancment have we made in theses four

areas?" The four primary miseries remain as they are. They may have made

advancments in medicine, but is there any remedy that can allow us to

claim, "Now there is no more disease?" Is there any such remedy? No. So

then what is their advancement? Rather, disease is increasing in so many

new forms.

 

They have invented nuclear

weapons. What good is that? Simply for killing. Have they invented

something so that no more men will die? That would be to their credit.

But people are dying at every moment, and they have simply invented

something to accelerate the death. That is all. Is that to their credit?

So there is still no solution to death. And they are trying to stop

overpopulation. But where is their solution? Every minute the population

is increasing by three persons.

 

So there is no solution

for birth. There is no solution for death. Ther is no solution for old

age. Everyone is trying to remain youthful, but what is the process?

These people do not care to solve this problem - because it is beyond

their means. But Krishna consciousness is the solution, and the whole

thing is described in Bhagavad-gita. Let them try to understand it.

Atleast let them make an experiment.
