Hare Krishna, Difficulties Are Doorways to Lord Sri Krishna Lord Krishna’s faithful devotee sees the difficulties of material existence not as difficulties. He sees them rather as doorways into higher dimensions of Krishna-bhakti. Therefore he is never in anxiety or distress. He experiences whatever happens to him at every minute as the special mercy of Lord Sri Krishna. There is no one in the universe who is more happy than such a Krishna devotee. In this connection, Lord Sri Krishna describes in Bhagavad-gita (18.54) : brahma-bhutah prasannatma na socati na kanksati samah sarvesu bhutesu mad-bhaktim labhate param ("One who is thus transcendentally situated at once realizes the Supreme Brahman and becomes fully joyful. He

never laments or desires to have anything. He is equally disposed toward every living entity. In that state he attains pure devotional service unto Me." ) Let us fully dedicate ourselves to become thus situated in pure Krishna-bhakti. There is no reason to continue in our present suffering condition. One of the items of surrendering to Krishna is to become a part of spiritual family. No man is an island. We develop our bhakti according to the company that we associate with . Therefore we need to seek out the association of souls who are loyal to Lord Krishna. By this we will be automatically fixed on the path of pure Krishna bhakti. In this regard Lord Caitanya states in Caitanya Caritamrita, Madhya 22.83 :krsna-bhakti-janma-mula haya ‘sadhu-sanga'krsna-prema janme, tenho punah

mukhya anga"The root cause of devotional service to Lord Krishna is association with advanced devotees. Even when one's dormant love for Krishna awakens, association with devotees is still most essential." So even after one becomes highly advanced in Krishna consciousness, he never gives us the company of the

devotees. Sankarshan Das Adhikari
