Guest guest
Hare Krishna, Lord Sri Krishna has two kinds of expansions: integrated and separated. The various incarnations of God, who are Him, such as Rama, Narasimha, and Vamana, are all His integrated expansions . And the ordinary living beings who are not Him, such as you and me, are His separated expansions. It is very important to know the difference between what is an integrated expansion and what is a separated expansion. If we mix the two up it is very detrimental for our spiritual life. You can chant Hare Krishna always in all circumstances. By worshipping the Supreme Godhead, Krishna, you will satisfy all the Gods and render the highest service to all living beings. This is compared to watering the root of a tree. When you water the root of a tree all the leaves and branches are nourished. We understand from the authorized Vedic literature that Sri Krishna is the root of the entire creation. When you worship Him by chanting the Hare Krishna mantra your love automatically goes to everyone. The perfection of worship is to worship Krishna. The nectarean nature of Krishna-bhakti is confirmed by anybody who sincerely practices it. It is also confirmed by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu as follows in Siksashtakam 1 : " Glory to the Sri Krishna Sankirtan, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years and extinguishes the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death. This Sankirtan movement is the prime benediction for humanity at large because it spreads the rays of the benediction moon. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge. It increases the ocean of transcendental bliss, and it enables us to fully taste the nectar for which we are always anxious. If you would also like to taste the most inconceivably nectar, kindly serious take up the process of Krishna-bhakti by surrendering to Lord Sri Krishna and performing His `sankirtan' with faith . You owe it to yourself to at least give it a try. Otherwise you will never know what you are missing. Please Chant : Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare And Be Happy. Sankarshan das Adhikari QUESTIONS & ANSWERS Question -1 Dear Durudeva, My first question is : Why has God created us ? My second question is : Why has God put us into this material world ? Thirdly, if God loves us so much why did He not put us in the spiritual world along with him instead of letting us suffer in this material world ? Fourthly, (Please do not mistake me for asking this question.) we all know that God is the knower of our activities and that He can predict our actions in advance. If He knows that we are going to sin why did He not make necessary changes in us when He made us? Is God taking pleasure in our suffering by putting us here ? Are we his puppets ? I understand that the above questions are quite rude, but if these questions go unanswered they will hamper the rate at which I grow God conscious. I therefore request you to oblige me by answering these questions. Yours faithfully, Rajas Mujumdar Reply: Answers from the Vedic Wisdom Dear Rajas, Please accept my blessings. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! . Lord Sri Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead . He has created us for His enjoyment. He wants to pleasure of having a unique intimate loving relationship with each and every one of us. He did not put us in this material world. We put ourselves here by our willfully disobeying Him. We were originally with Him the spiritual world, but we foolishly came here to try our best to be an imitation God here. God created us with free will so that we could choose to love Him or leave Him. Without free choice love cannot exist. Since God wants our love, He has therefore given us free will. Yes, God can predict, but we still have the full freedom of choice. God did not place us here. We foolishly left our safe position in His eternal kingdom. He is greatly disturbed by our suffering situation, and therefore comes to save us and sends His representatives to save us. Instead of being His freely acting independent associates, we have foolishly opted to be the puppets of His material energy (maya) . I appreciate your sincere questions. Your eternal well-wisher, Sankarshan Das Adhikari Question - 2 Hare Krishna, I have a question that puzzles me. I am curious how come we do not hear Krishna voice, I hope your Grace can enlighten me on this. Haku Patel Why Only Hear God? You Can See Him Also Dear Haku, Please accept my blessings. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! . Anyone can claim that God speaks to them or imagine that God speaks to them. Whether or not they are actually hearing God can be determined by a number of factors. If everything that they supposedly hear from God is completely in line with revealed scriptures such as the Bhagavad-gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam that is a positive sign. By the sublime and authorized process of Krishna-bhakti you can not only directly hear God. You can see Him also. This is described in the Sri Brahma Samhita 5.38 as follows : premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena santah sadaiva hrdayesu vilokayanti yam syamasundaram acintya-guna-svarupam govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami ( " I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who is Syamasundara, Krishna Himself with inconceivable innumerable attributes, whom the pure devotees see in their heart of hearts with the eye of devotion tinged with the salve of love.
