Bhagavan Krishna replied bluntly: "It is lust (kama) alone, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world." ( 3.36-37) In this fallen age "of today" lust is the last thing what we consider enemy. We prefer to see enemies everywhere else – but not in myself.
