Guest guest
I read with great interest the article by Nitaipada Maharaja. Indeed Lord Krishna takes service from a person with a good heart, submissive heart, clean and benevolent heart, irrespective of one's birth.Lord Krishna's charioteer was not a brahmin, but the Lord took service from him too. Such qualities are nowadays lacking in many so-called caste Brahmins, and are found in true devotees of the Lord. Irrespective of birth, what the Lord sees most of all is the condition of one's heart. If one is blackened in the heart, i.e. if one has a pile of black deeds that bring darkness to one's mind, then the Lord will encourage such a person to chant more, and if one has already cleansed the heart somewhat, then the Lord may ask the person do perform some devotional service. You must surely posess a wonderful heart, in order to be able to be a Pujari at a temple of Krishna. I pay my humble obeisances at your lotus feet, and may the mercy of the Lord Sri Krishna always be upon you and us all, who seek to follow the teachings of Srila Prabhupada sincerely. Jai Sri Krishna All Glories to Srila Prabhupada
