VCC presents Dr KJ Yesudas - Live Classical Music Concert on Saturday August 5th

Vedic Cultural Center (aka ISKCON) is proud to present Padmabhushan Dr. KJ Yesudas in a musical fundraiser

 

 

in Seattle after a gap of 6 years and

we are expecting the event to be a sold out concert. Please book your ticket in advance if you plan on attending

the event as tickets are selling fast. For any reason you are not able to attend you can still purchase a ticket as a token of donation as 100% of the funds will be utilized for construction of new home for Lord Krishna.

100% of all ticket collection will go towards the temple construction

fund as this is a sponsored event with concert cost written off by

generous donors in the community.

Dr KJ Yesudas Bio:Dr.

Kattassery Joseph Yesudas, one of the greatest ever South Indian

classical vocalist in the millennium will be visiting Seattle after a

gap of 6 years and enthralling the audience. Recipient of countless

number of awards including the Padmabhushan as well as national and

state level awards. Dr KJ Yesudas, one of the foremost exponents of

carnatic classical vocal music and leading playback singer in various

Indian languages (totalling more than 30,000 in Malayalam, Tamil,

Telugu, Sanskrit, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali to name a few languages he

has sung in) has performed in numerous countries at the most

prestigious venues and organizations worldwide.

KJ Yesudas has became an idol to many a singers in a career spanning

about six decades and is adored by one and all around the world.

Humility is the hallmark of this soft spoken and jovial man in whom

pride is totally absent

.. He credits all his success to his parents, family and

mostly on the gods who have been kind to him. He is a devout Latin

Catholic as he is a Hindu and Muslim. His songs and bhajans are popular

with all communities making him the Icon of national integration in

secular India.
