Lord Krishna is dearestKrishna krishna mukunda janardhana krishna govinda narayana hare.....Dear devotees of Lord krishna, I hope some of you know about Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar, a great Carnatic Musician as well as great devotee of Lord krishna....From the age of 20, he never missed Lord Guruvayurappan's (Lord Krishna's) darshan every Ekadasi day. In 1931, on the Ekadasi day, a musical concert was organised at Calicut under the auspices of Zamorin Rajah. While performing Chembai found that all of a sudden his voice had failed.One second he was in upper reaches of music and the next second he could not even say a word...The coming months were tortuous, as his admirers and his family took him from specialist to specialist in order to

get back the voice for the grand singer. But it was of no use, and Chembai resigned himself to a "voiceless" existence.After some months, as he was stoically worshipping in the Guruvayoor temple (in kerala), one elderly Namboodri (Kerala Brahmin), a famous ayurvedic expert of Kerala, shook him by his shoulders and told him "God Guruvayurappan came in my dreams and has told me to cure you".Chembai went with him and after few months, through the Namboodri’s medication, got back his lost voice.....Hare Krishna....Since then he made it a point to conduct Udayasthamana Pooja and musical concert on the Ekadasi Day. After his Death on 16th october 1974, his Disciples and Guruvayoor Temple Devaswom decided to commemorate Chembai's Name by conducting Chembai Sangeetholsavam every year during Ekadasi.It was intially a four day festival, but is now for Ten days due to the increase in the number of participants in the events................Hari Bhol............Lord krishna test his dear devotees........behind it there will be very good reason...........so be always devoted to hari, love him , care him, praise him...........hare krishna...............I have attached two photos of Sri Chembai
