I suggest you read the commentary on Narayaneeyam, which is an epitome

of Bhagavatam. Your confusion will go. To start with, access

web-site www.narayaneeyam.com or go to Google and ask for

"BHAKTARANJINI".

Regards

K>V.Gopalakrishna.

Dear Sanjeev prabhu

Hare Krishna and Dandavat Pranam to you.

Sorry I was a bit upset about the talk of war and fights. For

ordinary human beings like us, every day is a battle. When we talk

about Lord Krishna and listen to beautifull Gaudiya Kirtans our heart

melts. We feel inundiated with love. We come out of the mode of

everyday fights, battles etc. That is the beauty of Lord Krishna.

Therefore Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu comes as a combined incarnate of

Radha-Krishna to spread only love, compassion and he was distributing

freely to learned as well as non learned people. Loving Krishna through

Kirtans and Chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra which even an uneducated

can do, can bring a subtle change in a human being whether intelligent

or a dumb fool but on a condition that it has to be done from the heart.

Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was a great scholar right from his

childhood and he had shown his complete knowledge of the Vedas to the

knowledgables.

He only gave us the Shisthaskam. The eight beautifull verses

showing the path to get Krishna Prema, the highest form of Bhakti Yoga.

We have Dhyana Yogis, Gyana Yogis, Karma Yogis etc but the

highest form of Yogis are Bhakta Yogis. Take the case of Mira Bai, she

did not know the other yoga forms but only knew how to love Krishna.

With all humility, I have read Bhagawad Gita several times but I

get more confused with each sloka. I feel for myself or the vast amount

of people like me who are not a devotee but have inclinations to be

one, we do not understand Bhagavad Gita or the more complex Srimad

Bhagvatam. I feel Bhagavad Gita is like Masters Degree and the Srimad

Bhagvatam is the PHD. Yes certainly the basics might get cleared. My

feelings are that it is very difficult to understand the deeper

meanings of the above without falling in love with Lord Krishna.

The instructions of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu on the

Sisthastakam which is simple, easy to understand and only talks about

loving Krishna from our heart is more easy to follow.

Please do pardon me prabhu ji if I am crossing the limits. I am

just a trainee who aspires to become a Devotee, may be by tommorow or

the next life.

In the service of Guru and Lord Hari

Your humble Servant

Respected Devotees of Our Dear Lord Sri Krishna,

I wish to clarify this matter so that the arguments do not go

astray and distract anyone from Bhakti.

Firstly, the summary of Chapter 63.Canto #10

of the Srimad Bhagvatam was quoted fully in that particular post. This

can be read from the website http://www.srimadbhagavatam.org/canto10/chapter63.html

Once again, let's understand this very clearly that the Srimad

Bhagvatam was written bythe highest scriptural authority, none other

than the Literary incarnation of Lord Sri Krishna, namely Srila

Vyasadeva. Now if this article has been placed before our readers, the

purpose is ensure that our dear readers obtain the blessings mentioned

at the end of that particular chapter. Please read very carefully the

Srimad Bhagvatam, as it is a storehouse of knowledge which is

self-illuminating, and of the highest order.

I shall repeat the last verse in Chapter 63 of Canto

10, so that everyone understands the significance of posting

this wonderful chapter.

Text 53

For

the one who, rising at dawn, remembers thus the victory of Krishna in

the battle with S'ankara, will there be no defeat.

Whoever rises

early in the morning and remembers Lord Krishna's victory in His battle

with Lord S'iva will never experience defeat.

By the grace of Krishna, may you all be fortunate to

remember the wonderful pastimes of Lord Krishna and His Devotees, among

whom the Param Vaishnava the Lotus Eyed Shiv-Sankara, popularly known

as Lord Siva, is an expansion of dear Lord Balarama's Sankarsana form!

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!
