Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya ! This is a very polite request to the ISKCON preachers . Bhakti-yoga to Sri Krishna is based on one’s personal faith in the Lord . ISKCON is a leading international movement . But , more than 90% of the Indian devotees are worshipping Sri Krishna (Maha-Vishnu/ Naryana) , without associating with ISKCON . They respect ISKCON but don’t agree with all it’s doctrines . As mentioned in the attachment , ISKCON has made certain ‘sastric’ innovations to suit with their western mission and they can proceed as they want to . They have freedom to accept parts of Bhagavatam and leave out those ones that don’t suit their doctrines . (For example like Krishna’s description of Himself to Kalayavana and the visit of Krishna and Arjuna to the eternal abode Vaikuntam) . However , they may kindly avoid aggressive missionary preachings to brainwash the ardent followers of Bhagavatam . The conditional acceptance of Bhagavatam really hurts the pure followers . To them Bhagavatam is the essence of VEDAS which must be followed as it is without any change whatsoever . For example, Cowdung and Conch shell are the stools of two living beings . Still they are considered as sacred because the VEDAS says so . The stool of a learned brahmana is not sacred because it is rejected by VEDAS . Quoting a particular verse of Bhagavatam out of context to support one’s parampara-doctrine causes conflict with the Bhaktas who are pure followers of Bhagavatam . In Krishna-bhakti there is unity in diversity . Bhakti is personal between a devotee and the Lord . And there is nothing like right or wrong in Bhakti as long as one’s faith in the Lord is pure . An outsider can’t criticize it just because it doesn’t suit his parampara . So Let us respect every one . Lord Krishna resides in the hearts of every one . He Himself has provided us many methods to choose from . Let us respect the will of Sri Krishna . Please forgive me for any offences . Narayanadas. Cheap Talk?
