Guest guest
Om Namoh Narayanaya. My Humble Pranaams to all Devotees. Baba Ji, Thank you for such a beautiful Katha. In addition to what you explained, in Vedic Marriages, the Groom is treated as Lord Vishnu and the Bride Lakshmi. This is the reason why the Dharm Patni is considered as The Lakshmi of the home. There is the saying too that when the Lakshmi of the home is living in misery/treated badly there will be no prosperity in that home. There is also a beautiful Katha about the time when Sage Bhrigu kicked Lord Vishnu on His Chest and The Lord as always benevolent towards His Devotees--hastened to ensure that the Sage was unhurt. Maha Lakshmi was not pleased at what the Sage did and She left Vaikuntha. The Lord did not want to be without Her so He went after Her. Many may dismiss this as just stories but what The Lord demonstrates is that while He is Lord of The Universe He still is humble. He has no ego. What The Lord demonstrates to us with all His Kathas is how His Devotees should behave, how they should think and act. Wondrous is the ways of The Lord and even more wondrous is how compassionate He is. TAD VISNOH PARAMAM PADAM. In His Service, Nandrani "Non-cooperation with evil is a sacred duty." M.K.
