Guest guest
Hare Krishna. Dandavat Pranam to Bhagavan Sri Krishna and all Vaishnavas, Prahlada Maharaja has revealed in Srimad Bhagavatam (7.5.23-24) the (9) ways to please Bhagavan Sri Krishna (Maha-Vishnu) : sravanam kirtanam visnohsmaranam pada-sevanamarcanam vandanam dasyamsakhyam atma-nivedanamiti pumsarpita visnaubhaktis cen nava-laksanakriyeta bhagavaty addhatan manye 'dhitam uttamam ( Hearing and chanting about the transcendental holy name, form, qualities, paraphernalia and pastimes of Bhagavan Vishnu , remembering them, serving the lotus feet of the Bhagavan, offering the Bhagavan respectful worship with sixteen types of paraphernalia, offering prayers to the Bhagavan , becoming His servant, considering the Bhagavan one's best friend, and surrendering everything unto Him (in other words, serving Him with the body, mind and words) -- these nine processes are accepted as pure Bhakti-yoga (Devotional service) . One who has dedicated his life to the service of Bhagavan through these nine methods should be understood to be the most learned person, for he has acquired complete spiritual knowledge.) Guest guest
Dandavat pranams to Bhagavan Krishna and all Vaishnavites. A humble rejoinder, giving examples of the Nava-lakshana Bhakti (Nine lakshanas of Bhakti) "Srivishnoh Sravane Parikshid abhavat, Vaiyasakih keertane Prahladah smarane anghripadma-bhajane Lakshmeeh Pruthuh Poojane Akrurasthwabhivandane Kapipatih dasye cha sakhye Arjunah Sarvaswatmanivedane Balirabhut Kaivalyam ete Viduh." (Parikshit in listening to the Lord's name, Sage Suka in extolling, Prahlada in remembering, Goddess Lakshmi in the service of the Lotus feet, King Prithu in offering flowers, Akrura in respectful salutation, Hanuman in servitude, Arjuna in friendship, Mahabali in total surrender. These devotees are well-known for their exclusiveness in the methods of worship.) srikrishnadasa_rajeev wrote: Hare Krishna.
