In quality they are not different though quantitatively there is no comparison at all. Lord Krishna is the SUPREME LORD, the PARAMATMA or SUPERSOUL, whereas all others are either Mahatmas,Nitya-Baddha Atmas or Nitya-Mukta Atmas in some rare cases. The constitutional position of a living entity never changes in relation to Krishna. Each living entity has to serve Krishna , now or later as the case maybe.It is by the mercy of Krishna that we get a chance to serve HIM.
