Guest guest
Offering one's opinion is fine as long as it does not snowball into a major controversy (the world is already full of many controversies), therefore it is my humble request to all members, please if you have any difference of opinions, try to resolve as much as you can at your end by emailing the member directly if you agree or do not agree with his or her opinion, and if you require the other members of the group for this you are most welcome, depending on their interest in the argument, but we must be cautious not to allow topics to become a matter of ego clashes. We must devote more and more time to chanting, and less to arguments. I hope you all agree. Guest guest
Prabhu, as Srila Prabhupada says debating on spiritual matters with reference to Vedic Literatures is also a type of chanting.....Although, as a moderator, you have full rights over us and can stop us anytime...but i just request you to not to do this as i think this is for the first time, this group have become so lively...This should be the model for preaching to mayavadis and innocents too...Final Decision is yours... In the Service..Nandagopala Jivana Dasa... MODERATOR: As long as it does not become a fight, I am not stopping such wonderful debates. I am certain this will lead us to the right conclusions and help everyone in this group. sanjeev <punjsanjeev Sent: Friday, 23 March, 2007 8:29:28 AM Less Argument, more chanting Offering one's opinion is fine as long as it does not snowball into a major controversy (the world is already full of many controversies) , therefore it is my humble request to all members, please if you have any difference of opinions, try to resolve as much as you can at your end by emailing the member directly if you agree or do not agree with his or her opinion, and if you require the other members of the group for this you are most welcome, depending on their interest in the argument, but we must be cautious not to allow topics to become a matter of ego clashes. We must devote more and more time to chanting, and less to arguments. Guest guest
I really think that everyone needs to read this again, especially about the part where I say that Lord Krishna Himself does not have to transcend this material world, He is already beyond all of this. We are as well actually, but we have deluded ourselves so we are here to learn how to get out of here Peacefully. To understand the nature of His Appearance and so-called disappearance we have to learn in Love in Devotion under Guidance from a Spiritual Master whether it is Lord Krishna Himself or an External Spiritual Master. We are all of us potential devotees but we need to find Peace in understanding this. It is very simple, when Lord Krishna (not Krushna, it is KRISHNA or KRSNA please spell His name right, this is very important.) comes here he comes in his original transcendental form and with his expansions. Because of yogamaya it appears that he is living like us but really He is not since He is God and He does not have to live like us, He only comes here to engage in Divine Play and that is it really. One word explains our frustration in this discussion and that is Yogamaya. Even I myself at times have trouble understanding this and that is why I turn my own understanding off and just engage in Pure Devotion. No other speculation should be involved if we even try to explain this without our eyes being tinged with the salve of Love then we will commit many offenses about the nature of the appearance and disappearance of Lord Krishna. The fact is that He is still Here with us, and we need no apocalypse to show us that, only Devotion. He wants us to know Him but understand this one thing, He Never Left a Body Behind, and if you do believe that then you are only believing Maya and not Lord Krishna. Let's have Peace in this understanding, the only reason that this is being debated is because someone is being a trouble maker and they obviously planted a seed of destruction to start all of this going on. Bhagavan never dies and nor do we really. He is the Supreme Spirit Soul and we are his Friends. I know that I am His Friend and that is All, He is playing with us and wants us to learn. He never left us and never will. Sometimes when I chant, just like Radharani I feel like that He is gone, but that is the feeling of loss and separation that I experience which is transcendental understanding realizing that this world and universe is vacant without Lord Krishna. We all need Him and it's time to realize that and not to argue about this so much. God is not dead, he does not leave a body behind and He is still with us, it is that simple. Let's not commit so many offenses, let's just surrender and accept Lord Krishna into our lives, He will answer all of our questions, He has already answered mine. This is not my opinion this is what Lord Krishna has revealed to me through Devotion. Bhakta Aaron Cowherd Boy Here is my response before this again to support clarity and the meaning of the Sudarshana Disc which is Clarity in understanding these spiritual matters. Hare Krishna, Prabhu. I had to respond to this. We are only God in the sense that we are vibhinamsa expansions of Lord Krsna. We are not God on our own, Lord Krsna is the Supreme Absolute Truth, we are more just incarnations of His Bliss that needs to learn to Surrender to Him and not just to ourselves, a selfish outlook that is sypmtomatic of this Kaliyuga Age is that we only think of ourselves. We have to go beyond all of that, beyond the Mahat-Tattva, beyond Brahmajyoti, and to the Spiritual World. The only way we can do that is to Surrender by Chanting Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. There is no other way or any other way that gives the answer so easily, we do this with sincere Love and Devotion. It is not so simple that we are God, if I think that I am God the moment I do I realize I am Lord Krishna's servant, it does not matter if I'm God, and if I was God I would not even have to think about it, I already would be. We are simply performing black magic and deluding ourselves especially if we are Thinking or assuming that we are God by what we read. The only Secret is Devotion, we cannot understand scripture except in only a minute and poetic way if we do not engage in Devotional Service. When we look within our Hearts, we see Bhagavan as Paramatma and the atma, the Paramatma is the bird watching us and the bird that enjoys is the atma or atman. We are not the Paramatma, He is Lord Visnu, He is in our Hearts, He manifests to us in whatever religion we are adhering to , really it does not always matter, He comes to us and reveals this to us if we Care enough. It is not so simple as that we are God. That is an illusion created by being immersed in false ego. Sure we are all Spirit Souls Eternally but only one person is the Supreme Lord and that is Lord Krishna. We must understand this or we are making a fatal mistake in every way. Lord Krishna destroys demons that want to take his place, even Lord Indra could not do that and when he realized that he surrendered and so did that Kaliya serpent. There is not just one entity that transcends all of this, we all do, and Lord Krsna never has to transcend, He always was and will be God being the Beginning and the End Himself. The problem with impersonalism is always the same in making us think that we are God and that is the last snare of Maya. We are all here because we think we are God and we have to learn to get rid of these knots in our hearts and the Purest way of them all is to Surrender by the process that is Purest given via disciplic succession. Jaya Prabhupada, Jaya Sri Krsna Caitanya Prabhu Nityananda Sri Advaita Gadadhara Sri vasadi Gaura Bhakta Vrnda. Bhakta Aaron Jaya Narashimhadeva! Everyone please put this information in your Hearts and Minds and banish all Misfortune! , " sanjeev " <punjsanjeev wrote: > > Offering one's opinion is fine as long as it does not snowball into a > major controversy (the world is already full of many controversies), > therefore it is my humble request to all members, please if you have > any difference of opinions, try to resolve as much as you can at your > end by emailing the member directly if you agree or do not agree with > his or her opinion, and if you require the other members of the group > for this you are most welcome, depending on their interest in the > argument, but we must be cautious not to allow topics to become a > matter of ego clashes. We must devote more and more time to chanting, > and less to arguments.
