Guest guest
In the course of progress in spiritual life, one has to eventually give up dependency on words which try to explain Krishna. Krishna is the Supreme Truth manifested as a personality, but that does not change Krishna in any way. The formless nature of Krishna is the same as His form, as both are inconceiveable by the human eyes. It is only by the mind's eye that you really begin to see Krishna. If you are standing in front of the deity in a temple, what your eyes see is the depicted form of Krishna, whereas simultaneously your mind is perceiving the real nature of Krishna, which is inexplicable by words. Bhava is closer to Krishna than words. Bhava flows faster and Krishna reads our Bhava instantaneously. It has been said that Bhava is what Krishna is after, he sees and judges a devotee by the Bhava. Krishna's ways are so awesome, it is near impossible to describe, because He is the topic, he is the message, he is the objective, he is the subject of everything we discuss, and truly within our heart it is He alone that is enjoying the discussion.....He simply smiles and lets us play with words, while our Bhava goes to him directly and he knows what His devotees mean to say.... When during chanting you feel sleepy or drowsy that is the time when you must chant more vigorously, because that is when the three qualities are trying to dominate...Tamas tries to overpower your mind by making you fall asleep, Rajas tries to dominate your mind by making you do things that are considered important in worldly life, and Sattva prevails upon your mind with the goodness of purpose....while all the time Krishna, in His pure Nirguna Bhava is watching you.....eternally.
