Giving pure (sattvika form of) charity 5. Keeping all senses in complete control6. Doing one's duty 7. Abiding in the principles of the sacred books and bringing them into your life8. Bearing any hardships happily, with inner joy for the sake of one's duty9. Straight-forwardnes s of body, mind and speech10. Causing no difficulty in the least bit to anyone (Non-violence) through body, mind and speech11. Truthfulness and geniality of speech12. Absence of anger even on provocation by regarding everyone as My

manifestation13. Renunciation of desire14. Tranquility of mind 15. Refraining from malicious gossip16. Kindness and compassion to all creatures17. Absence of attachment to the objects of sense even during their contact with the senses18. Softness (mildness) of heart 19. Sense of shame in doing actions not sanctioned by the scriptures20. Absence of ficklessness21. Sublimity in body and speech22. Forgiveness 23. Fortitude in all situations and circumstances24. External Purity (of body)25. Absence of Malice 26. Absence of Pride These are the marks of the person who possesses divine traits and he can be considered deserving My Devotion.
