Hare Krsna O Partha, there is no fall for him, either here or hereafter; for none who works for self-redemption, meets with an evil end. (Gita 6:40) "Na hi kalyaanakrtkasciddu rgatim taata gacchati" Here a very significant word "taata" is used, a word of endearment. In the entire Gita this word has been used only once. It shows Lord Krishna's great affection and grace and is a great assurance to all strivers. The doer of good deeds or one who with a true heart works for self redemption, never meets with an evil fate. This means that a spiritual aspirant who being detached to pleasure and prosperity, engages in spiritual discipline to attain God Realization, has no fall, because God Himself is his savior. Sometimes it seems that he may have fallen to an inferior state, but this so happens because of his pride. The Lord gives him a warning, so that he may be aware of his state and turn towards God again with zeal.

Just like Lord Krishna disappeared during his pastime from the midst of the Gopis, but their welfare and memory were lingering within Him at all times. God is like a mother, always promoting the welfare of His devotees. All this means that feelings of spirituality once germinated, cannot be wiped out, because whatever is done for God, becomes Real. (Gita 17:27) and the Real never ceases to be (Gita 2:16). The impressions of the past always inspire him towards spirituality.
