Guest guest
plz clarify me on the folowing.... in Vishnu Saharanamam the following verse is for godd studies "vedo vedavid-avyango vedaango vedavit kavih " and th following is for good thinking "mahaabuddhir-mahaa-veeryo mahaa-shaktir mahaa-dyutih ".. all the slokas have specific purpose like above . So can we chant just these slokas ,like any one of them for the timely need ? is it permitted and will that be completely fruitful ? And my second question is ... I've got an immense attraction towards listening to the Saharanama chant in my cd player. so in the morning, while having dinner, lunch, while arranging books, while learning my lessons and so on during most of my routines i just play it in my cd player repeatedly........an important thing is that i dont feel like sleeping itself if i dont listen to it. i play it and as such i go to bed, and half the way i get asleep and i wake up in the middle and switch it off... 1 -> Is anything wrong in my above act ? 2 -> Is it a sin if the chant is cut off in the middle ? 3 -> sometimes i keep the volume so mild so that no one can hear it, but the chant keeps playing repeatedly, cud listen if u take ur ears so close to the speaker only. plz help me.... u may think its meaningless but stil am left pzld. answer me friends plz..... regards,Ganesh kumar No need to miss a message. Guest guest
Dear Ganesh, I think there is no harm in it, as my guru tell me to go on chanting lord's name in whatever state I am in (if possible as long as I am awake), Can you do me a favour? Can u tell me the name of theCD, so that I can buy or download?
