Hare Krsna. Question: Of all the sacrifices, which sacrifice is superior , O Lord? Bhagawan: The sacrifice of knowledge is superior to all other sacrifices born of action; because all actions and objects without exception come to an end in knowledge. (Gita 4:33)Question: How to attain this knowledge? Bhagawan: Attain this knowledge by prostrating yourself at the feet of the seers of truth by rendering service to them and question them eagerly with reverence. Those wise seers will unfold that knowledge to you. (Gita 4:34) Question: What will be the outcome of that knowledge, attained from the seers ? Bhagawan: After acquiring that knowledge you will no more be subjected to delusion and by this knowledge you will see all beings first in your own self and then in Me i.e. you will perceive the Supreme everywhere. (Gita 4:35) Question: Is there any other glory of this knowledge? Bhagawan: Yes, even if

you are the most sinful of all sinners, you will undoubtedly cross over all sins by the raft of knowledge. Question: When we cross the ocean on a raft, the ocean still remains. Similarly, sins must be remaining after crossing them? Bhagawan: No, Arjuna, as the blazing fire entirely reduces the wood to ashes, so does the fire of knowledge reduce all actions to ashes. Therefore in this world, there is no purifier like knowledge. He who has attained perfection by Yoga of action realizes this knowledge in the self certainly without making any effort. From "Gita Madhurya" in English pg 56 and in Hindi pg 50 by Swami Ramsukhdasji.
