It has been done with a lot of care and attention to minute details. I am sure that when it is fully functional it will serve a greater need. Keep up the good work. I would like to once again remind you all of the upcoming Madhva Navami celebrations at the Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, 6905 Cipriano Road, MD-20770 (301)552-3335 on January 30th at 10 AM. Guest guest
om namo narayanaya A very warm welcome to this group. It is always good to read the experiences of staunch devotees like yourself. Sindhu guruvayur , Indira Kumar <indirapta> wrote: > > om namo narayanaya > Today is vaikunda Ekadesi. I am so happy to get into this group this day. It simply shows my connection with Guruvayoorappan.I hail from a poor family in Quilon(dist) Since my childhood the day ends with a prayer in front of Kannan's photo. After 40 years' still it is going on. I was in middle east from 1989 to 2004. In sept I migrated to Canada along with my family. All these ways Kannan " was " and " is " the only company with whom I trust from the core my heart. He is the only one with whom I share all my problems. I sit and talk to him. I smile to him. I burst into tears in front of him. I scold him sometimes, then I ask sorry to him. I sit in front of him simply looking into his eyes. He sits in my mind and lead my ways.I too have my ups and downs, but never I was thrown out in the dust bin.I love to have problems which make me to sit in front of him and shed tears which make me to purify my soul.My children are also his devotees. As a new comer I think I wrote too much .I too have > experince and experiments with Him which will be note down later. My heartiest wishes to all. Guest guest
Hello, As a 52 year old beginner here, I would appreciate all the help and advise I can get now days. I had my first encounter with devotee's of Krisna back in 1972 at Chicago's O'Hara airport and never fully forgotten it. I had some time in between flights and sat and talked to whom I assumed was a senior member of the group, and realized the sense of everything he was telling me of Krishna. However, at that time I had to weigh the options open to me then. For at that time I was in the military and did not want to be imprisoned for desertion. So, as one event led to another I never followed the advise given or my inner feelings or thoughts. From that point on my life has since been in a downward spiral, until recently (as of Sat Jul 28). This is when I made my conscious decision to enter in the quest for Krishna's peace and awareness. This has been a short synopsis of things, so thank-you for reading this and sending any advice in advance. Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, Hare, Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama, Rama, Hare, Hare !

Guest guest
Dear Devotee, Please accept my humble obeisances. Welcome to this Group. It is interesting that the seed of Krishna Consciousness has sprung up after lying dormant for many years. This is the way spiritualism spreads, from person to person, through direct contact. The rest of the process is nurturing it by chanting the Mahamantra (try to chant more and more till you achieve 16 rounds a day). The change which chanting brings about in the mind of a person is worth describing:- Gradually the person becomes more responsible in real life, developing an attitude of detachment from mundane affairs and focussing the mind on down to earth issues of existence amd the meaning of life. Questions come up and if answered properly, will lead to a very strong and receptive mind with a sense of purpose, ready for accepting the divine gifts which Krishna bestows upon the individual time to time. This is where a Guru will be required, for a Guru is a personalisation of Krishna's mercy. As you chant more and more,When the joy begins to spring up from within, and the self-realisation deepens, one is seen behaving more responsibly, and enjoying topics of Krishna Consciousness. Eventually one rises to the much spoken platform of Pure Bhakti for Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.(a humble attitude of Devotional Service to Krishna). Once again we welcome you to this group and pray that you will get the guidance you need in order to progress in your spiritual life. Jai Sri Krishna!
