Bharati Tamil Sangam is a Non Profit Cultural community organization based in California, USA. established in 2007.

Objectives...

Bharati Tamil Sangam is established in California to foster Tamil Language Culture and History Studies and to

Ø To propagate and foster Tamil Culture and to encourage Tamil Cultural Heritage Study( Ilakkiyam,Kavyam) through publications of books, magazines, newspapers, and study groups, Health development and Children activities, Cultural activities and Lectures.

Ø To organize classes and training for students in literature study activities on subjects like Thirukkural, Thiruppavai, DivyaPrabandam and Sowndarya Lahari.

Ø Practice of Cultural Heritage Activities (Like BharataNatyam Arangetram, Carnatic Music Arangetram etc)

Ø To organize youth activities in the fields of music, drama, sports, recreation, etc.

Ø To celebrate Krishna Janmashtami, Rama Navami, Deepavali, Navarathri, Karthikai and Pongal Tamil festivals.

Ø To provide and participate in social, welfare and advisory services to similar organizations promoting tamil literature and cultural activities and to establish a community centre to carry out these objectives successfully.
