Punsavan details/Ekadashi

Namaskar,

 

I ahve two questions

 

1. If somebody wants to start doing Ekdashi on a reguklar basis, is

there a particular ekadahsi she/he should start doing it or they can

start from any ekadashi?

 

2. In Srimadbhagavatam,m, Rishi Kashyap tells details of a year long

ritual to one of his wives( Diti/Aditi) .This ceremony name is

Punsavan( I am not sure 100% about name).My question is in this

ceremony offerings have to be made in fire daily.Is it feasible in

this yuga? Is there any alternate to doing this part in the ritual?

Also is the ritual only to be done by ladies who are expcting a child

or anyone can do it?
