Guest guest
Dandavat Pranams to Bhagavan Krishna and Vaishnavas ! , Introduction To guide His Bhaktas, Bhagavan Krishna inspired His favorite devotee-Poet Poonthanam to compile "Jnanappana " ( Song of Knowledge) . The draft copy of this book was edited by, Bhagavan Himself . The following Sloka # 6 to 10 , speak about different spiritual paths, Karma-Bondage , realization of Brahman , etc . " JNANAPPANA " ( Sloka # 6 to 10) Sloka - 6 For the understanding of different people ,our Vedic scriptures have stated many paths to follow . Note : It is with a view to make the various types of people understand that our vedic scriptural books tell us about different spiritual paths . Sloka - 7 For those who can selct the path, many a paths of action exist, like those that make one realize the veil covering the truth,or the methods of Yoga depending on one's own limitations . But they are all of limited use because they are complicated . Note : But most of these methods are difficult and unpleasant except for the very intelligent men . Sloka - 8 In this rotating wheel of births an deaths,to teach us who get caught and toil in this wheel, those great God-realized men, have showered many a truth with grace , to attain salvation with ease . And so all of you please listen carefully . Note : Our Sages have provided us easy methods to attain salvation . Sloka - 9 Please know first that the thing which ties us all ,is the `Karma' that we have done in the past . Note : The past birth's Karma results in our present day actions . ( Karma-Bondage) . Sloka - 10 Each part of all this world that we see now ,became only one form of an ethereal light during Deluge , with nothing attaching to it ,with it not attaching to anything .And for those spiritual seekers who search minutely one by one ,It becomes the `single entity' through which every thing is known. And for those whose mind flits and wanders,It becomes something unknown , similar but dissimilar to each other, but all together the spirit of the soul. And it seems was made by God, with all the three worlds as its parts. Note : The concept of `Brahman ` , the eternal truth is introduced . It is a single entity for those steady mined men who realized it . However it is unknown and varying to those whose mind is unsteady . Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya!!! SriKrishnaDasa Rajeev
