Dandavat Pranams to Bhagavan Krishna and Vaishanavas ! ,

Introduction

Bhagavan Krishna inspired favorite devotee-Poet Poonthanam to compile "Jnanappana " ( Song of Knowledge) . The draft copy of this book was edited by, Bhagavan Himself .

The following Sloka # 21 to 27 , explain the importance of Bhaarata , the sacred country:

Earth , is a manifestation of Krishna . All His avatars are for the protection of Earth . So , Earth is the best of all 14 worlds .

Earth is divided in to (7) continents and (9) basic countries . Among them , Bhaarata ( India) is the most sacred country .

One can gain positive `Karma' easily from Bhaarat only . Also negative `Karma `can be nullified here only to attain Salvation .

Great Rishis and the Vedas praise `Bhaarata' as the sacred abode of `Karma' .

Among the (4) Yugas ( Sathya, Threta, Dwapara and Kali) , one can attain Salvation easily in Kali-yuga merely by chanting Krishna's names in Bhaarata .

" JNANAPPANA "

( Sloka # 21 to 27 )

Sloka – 21

The inborn nature of the Lord of Universe ( Krishna) ,shines obviously as this Earth .

Note : Our Earth is a particular manifestation of Bhagavan Krishna .

Sloka – 22

To save and upkeep this Earth of ours ,many `avataras' (Incarnations) took place . And because of this , Earth Is the greatest among all Fourteen worlds . Rishis who are experts in Vedas, say this . Also, the Vedas respectfully state the same .

Note : Since all avataras of Bhagavan Krishna are for the protection of it , Earth is the greatest among all Fourteen worlds in the Universe .

Sloka – 23

In the midst of the huge salty Sea ,exists the `Jambu islands ' which is , a hundred thousand miles long .

Within it are the seven islands, and it is praised by scriptures as most holy .

Note : This verse describes the Earth , namely `Jambu Island' (Earth) . It is divided in to seven islands ( 7 Continents) .

Sloka – 24

In the peak and center of the lotus of this Earth, stands Maha Meru , the mountain . There are nine major parts of this Earth . The most sacred part is, Bhaaratha (Inida) .

Note : Earth has in its center the Maha Meru mountain . It has 9 basic lands . Amng them the most sacred country is Bhaaratha .

Sloka – 25

The universally accepted Rishis ,mention this land ( Bhaarata) as the abode of `Karma' .

Note : The Rishis call our motherland Bhaarata as Karma Bhumi .

Sloka – 26

The source of all Karma is Bhaarata ,

even for those great souls in Brahma Loka .it is here (Bhaarata) only that, negative `Karma' can be nullified ,

in order to attain liberation . For sure that can't easily be done, anywhere else other than in Bhaaratha .

Note : Our mother land Bhaarata is the most sacred country in this Earth . Every one including those in Brahma-loka can gain positive `Karma' easily from Bhaarat only . Also, one can easily nullify negative `Karma' only in Bhaarat , in order to attain salvation .

Sloka – 27

Please do remember that this country Bhaaratha,is the most sacred land .Among the different (4) Yugas , Kali-Yuga is the best one ,

to attain Salvation easily .

Note : From the creation of Earth to the grand deluge, the time is divided in to four large time periods(Yugas). They are Sathya, Thretha, Dwapara and Kali . Though there is more suffering in Kali-yga , just by repeating the names of the Bhagavan Krishna, it is possible to attain salvation in Kali-Yuga . Therefore , it is good to be born in Bhaarat during Kali-Yuga .

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya!!!
