Guest guest
Dandavat Pranams to Bhagavan Krishna and Vaishanavas ! , Introduction Bhagavan Krishna inspired Poonthanam to compile "Jnanappana " ( Song of Knowledge) . The draft copy of this book was edited by, Bhagavan Himself . The following Sloka # 39 to 44 , explain the unpredictability and shortness human life , necessity to chant Bhagavan's names , and Man's never ending Ego and desire for money : Cruel men don't help the need . Upon death one can't even take the cloth he wears. Addiction for money forces one to cheat even those believing him . Truth is God . Knowledge gained by an Atheist is useless to him and others . Material desires cause bondage . " JNANAPPANA " ( Sloka # 39 to 44 ) Sloka – 39 When poor people beg for alms ,cruel men will not even give a little. Note : Many selfish men though wealthy, do not help the needy . Sloka – 40 At the time of death, even the cloths that they wear, cannot be taken with them by any one. Note : The hard earned wealth is useless at the time of death . Sloka – 41 Without feeling an iota of remorse, they consider deceiving those who trust . Because of the addiction for money, some people even forget the truth , O God . Note : Selfish men believe that money is everything . To them nothing is greater than money earned and for preserving any action including forsaking of truth is OK . Sloka – 42 For sure the Truth is Brahmam . The learned consider this as the only truth. Note : This is the source of modern saying "Truth is God" . Sloka – 43 Gaining knowledge and not knowing what should be known, some people act as if they are learned ones . It is like the donkey carrying "Kumkumam" (saffron) ,without even knowing the smell of it . Note : The knowledge gained by Atheists is without purpose . Atheists do not know the value of their knowledge . They are like senseless donkeys . Sloka – 44 Krishna! Krishna ! When we think about it ,people get always wonderstruck with avarice . Note : Material desires bewilder men and entangle them into bondage . Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya!!! SriKrishnaDasa Rajeev
