Krishna, Guruvayoorappa ! Dear Bhakthas ,

The Guruvayoor Devaswom Board Meeting held on Friday 23rd November , decided the following :

The implementation of Remedial Measures recommended in the recent "Devaprasnam" will begin on 6th December .

First , the recommended offerings for Guruvayoor and Surrounding Temples will be completed . This include necessary Atonements , Social Prayers , etc .

Mr. V.Ratheesan , Devaswom Administrator is entrusted to ensure timely completion of the above according to the schedule .

It was revealed in the "Devaprasnam" that , the "Suvarna-Dwajam" ( Golden Flag Pole) is in a tilted position and it's footing is affected by insects and that is to be replaced within 13 months . However, Devaswom Board requires more time to resolve this Item .

Regarding the entry of Ladies wearing Churidar, there is an ongoing case in the Supreme Court . So, a final decision on this will be taken only after studying all the details .

Note : Guruvayoorappa-Bhakthas welcome the Board's decision to begin the remedial actions . However , the two main issues , Replacement of Flag Pole and Prohibition of Churidar are very important and they are to be resolved without delay .

All Bhakthas should recite daily , the first "Dasakam" ("Guruvayoor Mahatmyam") of "Narayaneeyam" and pray to Bhagavan for the speedy completion of all the Remedial Measures including the above said two (2) key items .

Bhagavane Guruvayoorappa , please save our beloved Temple !!!! .

Krishnadaya.
