Oh Krishna , You say You are present in anything and everything We keep on searching for you around and finally find nothing Tossed by wordly desires and disillusions caused by anything As our senses drive us cunningly saying that there may be something. Oh Krishna , You say that You are always waiting to save us But we run from pillar to post when in trouble to enable us To protect ourselves from pitfalls and misfortunes that trouble us And totally get entangled in dangerous situations that upset us . Oh Krishna, You say You are like water, tasteless and Colourless. But great people say You are Sweet & Blue, never the less We are always trying to learn you with our efforts ceaseless And end up knowing nothing as you are a mystery endless. Oh Krishna, You say we should do our duties, as You assigned Without waiting for any fruits of our actions and remain resigned But whenever we engage to prosper in the efforts we designed We fail miserably and have to accept what you have predesigned. Oh Krishna, You say that we have no enemies from outside All the adversaries in life are always hidden deeply in us inside When we search to find out those strong enemies which reside In us ,we could never trace them and throw them away outside. Oh Krishna, You say when we are unable to abide by Your advice We should totally surrender to You and not to turn to any other device And at the right time You will surely come and will rightly advise And save us eternally keeeping us away from all the vice.
