Great Saints have proven that Namasankeerthanam

(Bhajan) is the easiest way of attaining Moksha. Namasankeerthanam involves

singing and chanting the glory of Lord, individually or in chorus.

Namasankeerthanam was propogated by Great Gurus in ancient times across South

India and North India and the tradition is

still being followed with a little improvisation.

Importance

of Namasangeerthana

“Dhyan Kretha Yajan Yegaiyehi Threthayam Dwapro Archayan

Yathopnothi Thathapnothi Kalau Sangeerthya Kesavam”

Sage Suga tells King Parikshit that there are

different Dharmas for different Yuga like Dhynam for Kretha Yugam, Yegayam

for Thretha Yugam , Archanam (pooja) for Dwapro Yugam ,

'Kalau Sankeerthya Kesavan' (chant the name of the Lord Kesava) for Kali

Yugam. In Kali Yuga it is difficult to do other Dhramas, therefore,

Namasankeerthana is the easiest way to attain salvation.

T. VIJAYAKRISHNAN & T. BALAJI,

known as VIJAY-BALAJI amongst

Bhagavathas, are brothers hailing from a respectable and pious family devoted

to Sadhguru Sri Gnananandagiri Maharaj of

Thapovanam.

VIJAY-BALAJI

have been blessed to listen and observe Namasankeerthan and Harikatha

Pravachan from many senior Bhagavathas right from their childhood. This

indeed helps them to render Namasankeerthan and Sankeerthana Upanyasam of

their own style.

T. Vijay Krishnan had

learnt Carnatic Music from Late Sri Valliyur Gurumoorthy and

both the brothers learnt Bhajan from Sri

Namanandha giri Swamiji.

VIJAY-BALAJI have been performing Nama Sankeerthanam and Pravachanam in all

metro cities in India.

Their renderings have been heard and blessed

by many saints like Sri Kanchi

Maha Swamiji, Sri Krishna Premi Swamiji, Sri

Muralidhara Swamiji, Sri Thukaram

Ganapathy Maharaj and almost all senior Bhagavathas.

Five Audio tapes have been released by

them on various types of Bhajans (till 2005), which have received wide

reception and appreciation amongst Bhajan lovers.
