VEDIC THOUGHT

" What is difficult to achieve for determined men who have taken refuge

of the Supreme Personality of Godhead's lotus feet? His feet are the

source of sacred rivers like the Ganges, which put an end to the

dangers of mundane life " .

(Sri Maitreya Rsi - Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.23.42)

Hare Krishna,

Just as Meera bai said:

tat mat bhrat bandhu, aapno na koi,

chaan gayi kul ki khaan, ka kari hai koi.

Meaning, that parents, siblings and friends are all temporarily with

us. We should not be proud that my father is very influential or my

status is very high because of my relations.

In God's presence, we are all individuals and in God's court a soul

will not be judged based on the relatives a person had in life. The

soul will be judged only on the basis of it's karmas.

Hare Krishna
