Guest guest
Dear All, I wanted to know if there is any prayer that can be told to Sri Krishna that is present in the Vedas that is to be told to Sri Krishna before eating. Hare Krishna. I know already the prayer before eating given by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhktivedanta Swami Pabhupada. Gratitude to Sri Krishna and Sri GuruDev for keeping in the thoughts of Sri Krishna. Hare Krishna. Govinda Govinda.
Guest guest
" SRIKRISHNA GOVINDA HAREY MURAAREY, SREENATHA NARAYANA VASUDEVA " is a good prayer which all say before taking food. But normally, " ANNAPOORNEY SADAAPOORNEY SANKARA-PRAANA-VALLABHEY, JNAANA-VAIRAGYA SIDDHYARTTHAM BHIKSHAAM DEHI CHA PARVATHEE. " is the prayer offered to Mother Annapoorneswari. If you have been initiated into the study of Vedas by performing " Upanayanam " , the usual parishechanam is itself offering the food to the Jeevatman residing within oneself, prior to taking food. Srikrishna Himself, is the embodiment of the Nishkala-brahman who is identical with the Jeevatman. Realising this, there is nothing further required. This is my humble opinion. Regards K.V. Gopalakrishna.
