Topic: "References on the Holy Name" About the Speaker: Vasudeva Das became an initiated brahmana in ISKCON in 1986 and has served the Vaishnava community in different capacities in Africa. He was trained by H.H. Bhakti-tirtha Swami Maharaja, his spiritual master. He regularly attends academic conferences where he offers academicians Vaisnava perspectives on political and social issues. Among his achievements he has written over 30 publications in specialty journals and books in a span of 3 years. In appreciation of his preaching accomplishments in the academia, ISKCON GBC presented him an Award of Excellence in Mayapur in 2003. He is a
